About me.

I’m a self-taught photographer. Freed from conventions I try to capture stories that have value to me. My interest is often piqued by those details that are easily missed. I like to work intuitively and have a style that is hard to define. I roam between autonomous fine art photography, often focussing on nature, documentary storytelling through my images, and working on a commercial basis.

I take on assignments of all varieties. I especially enjoy weddings, events that try to improve the world (also in the educational sphere), and shooting other artists (or film stills). My dream is to be able to have photography take me to new places and to meet fascinating people.

Over the course of my photographic career I have been able to take part in talent development at Studio Camera Lab, received some support from the Fentener Van Vlissingen Fonds and followed some courses to develop my narrative.
